4th of July Details

I love the fourth of July, it means fun with family and friends, warm weather, fireworks, and lots of perfect little details that can be incorporated into your celebration or your wedding day. I imagine using many of these details to compliment the holiday and your color scheme {which, if you are a bride this weekend, was pretty much planned for you}.

For your fourth of July BBQ or even cocktail hour for a summer wedding these alcohol infused popsicle are such a fun way to cool your guests down and add a unique twist to any event. Lovely Letters

If you are looking for a great gift for a recent grad, or a little something to make a new sorority pledge smile ear to ear the Lilly line of custom sorority print items is perfect. I would have loved having any of these items in my  sorority’s own custom Lilly pattern back at Elon, and I can imagine any college girl would feel the same way now. The options are adorable and can range from a congratulations bid day gift to a graduation present for a new alum that they can use for years to come!

First Impression

I love all of the unique ways you can welcome your guests to your wedding ceremony or reception. One of my favorite ways is by having a welcoming wreath that works with your wedding style at the entrance to your church, your home, or your venue. There seem to be perfect options for every type of wedding, and they are an inexpensive detail that givse your guests a warm welcome to the celebration!

I adore the unique presentation of this trio on the cathedral door

I love the rustic feel of this St Germain Statice

Perfect for a beach reception

These initials are, of course, my favorite options

You can pair two of them to decorate a larger space, I may even put the new last initial in the center!

Excuse me, please…

…how on earth have I not been alerted about this before? My sweet friend sent me a link to the new furniture line by Lilly Pulitzer on Horchow and I instantly felt my heart flutter. I would like one of every single piece she has designed, they are so bright and cheery and although the price does not exactly make them fall under the “gift” category they are far to stylish and fun to not share with all of you. Prepare to be in love.

And if anyone would like to gift any of these pieces to me, I promise to send a very pretty thank you note!

hello home office!

Hello Summer!

Summer is here and I am thinking of all the fun summer accents weddings and partied held during these few months can add in. A new trend I found could be the perfect colorful touch to your next event. Old fashioned sodas add a fun and playful element to an event and can even be used as part of your decor! Thereare so many to reasons to love them: they are in pretty glass bottles, you can tie in your vintage theme with the adorable labels, and they are made with pure sugar cane, delicious! A perfect altrnative to the candy bar or to add a unique touch to cocktail hour.

welcome to the party!
