in love with Inslee

These gorgeous illustrations by DC based artist Inslee are just breath-taking. I love every little detail in these images, and the blog gives you the back story on most of them which makes them even more fun. The shop offers calendars {can you say stocking stuffer?}, note cards, invitations, holiday cards, and prints. The best part is you can commission Inslee to do a custom drawing for a very special friend, or for a bride to be. How amazing to be captured so beautifully on paper. I love every one of them, but some of my most favorite selections are below.

The moment I saw this adorable party on the sweetest occasion I fell in love. I do not have kids, but believe me when I do I will be hosting my very own Thank God Its Back to School Party with many cocktails. These cheeky swizzle sticks and banners are easily printable via this link. So all you parents grabs your friends, and some drinks and celebrate the end to another wonderful summer!

Classic City Hall Wedding

It may be officially fall according to the calendar but it is a rainy, gloomy, day here in New England. Something that is helping brightening this dreary day is this city hall wedding I stumbled upon on  A Cup of Joe. Every detail is so perfect it looks like an ad campaign. {her veil is amazing!} There is something so romantic about the idea of just the bride and groom escaping off to get married and celebrating with a lovely dinner party after with friends and family. {Read more about it in the full post linked above}

day job

I thought I would let you all in on one of the big events I have been working on here at the office this summer. We were lucky enough to host the launch party for a great bridal magazine here in Boston! It was a fun night showcasing some amazing work of local Boston florists, rental companies, and designers and the evening was a big success! I couldn’t wait to share pictures from the event, if you are looking for some great wedding or decor inspiration this was the event to be inspired by. Enjoy!

happiest friday!

Friday has finally come to visit us, and on this dreary day in Boston these darling clutches from a03 designs etsy shop are sure to brighten any day. They come individual {in almost any color or pattern you can dream of} or she sells them in sets for your maids to carry on your big day! I don’t know how to possibly choose which one I love most, be sure to hop over and check them all out.
