Where did two years go?

Today I am wishing a very happy anniversary to my favorite guy. My goodness time has flown by. Within two years we have moved, finished Business School, changed jobs, moved again, and I can’t wait to see what year three holds! I’m sharing below an article that was published this past year on our wedding in Newport Life Magazine, we had the best vendors, the best weather, and, for us, the perfect day!

Wedding in a snap {shot}

I was lucky enough to work on an amazing wedding a few weeks ago that exuded New England Charm in every detail. Here are a few snaps taken in between set-up, and rain delays, the entire day wound up perfect. Farm tables, with rustic centerpieces flooding the length were a perfect complement to the rustic atmosphere created by the Sperry Tent. Cocktail hour was made up of small vignettes with vintage chairs, and wine barrel high cocktail tables. Enjoy a few sneak peaks of this perfect day!

Married: Brett & Sarah

This June Brett and Sarah were married on a beautiful {and hot} summer day in Boston at the Boston Harbor Hotel. The boys stared out the day with a ride in Uber Cabs to a brewery tour at Harpoon while the girls got ready at the hotel. Their first look was done by the amazingly talented Laura Parent of Relive Photography on the bridge and the images came out perfect! The crowds loved seeing them walk towards one another and Sarah knew how to work the camera. Sarah’s color scheme of cobalt blue carried throughout the day in the dresses, her shoes, and accented the gold and cream florals and decor perfectly! The night was full of love from both sides, from heartfelt toasts and first dances to the dance floor antics in the evening. The event was so wonderful to be a part of! Cheers to the new Mr and Mrs!!

Unexpected Weather, Perfect Union

When Kelli and Nick were married in October in Boston they never anticipated that it would snow on their big day. You would have never known as they celebrated and danced the night away with over 230 guests in downtown Boston. Armor & Martell captured their big day perfectly. The bride included vintage elements into her dress, and the boys had some fun with color in their attire. The overall theme was rustic modern, which incorporated lounge seating areas with vintage stools, and sofas, a custom chuppah made of birch and hanging lanterns (tall enough for the tallest groom!) and a custom photo lounge area for guests to enjoy. The entire evening was a wonderful celebration of a perfect couple!

Married: Niki and Wesley

Niki and Wesley were married this winter, and their images just came to me from Daniel Doke Studio and, as always, truly showcase what a beautiful winter reception it was. Niki loved the feel of the city in the winter and incorporated that into elements of her day with snowflake accents on cocktail napkins, wishing tree cards, menu cards, and seating cards. The twinkling effect of the day was carried through the accents in Niki’s dress and accessories, the linens, and the lighting used for the reception. Following a traditional Greek Orthodox Ceremony 200 guests danced the night away atop the city skyline, some of my favorite images of the day are below. Congrats again Mr and Mrs Caron!!
